Largest attendance for a virtual podcasting conference in one week with over 5,000 in attendance
Congratulations to our friends at The Podfest Global Summit. They say they now hold the Guinness World Record for largest attendance for a one week virtual conference. 5,003 people attended The Podfest Expo online in August.
A Podfest event is so much more that just a mere conference. While they pride ourselves on featuring the most engaging speakers, exciting topics and in-depth content, the thing that sets a Podfest event apart from all others is the tight-knit community they’ve been building since 2013. You don’t just attend a Podfest event – you become part of the Podfest family. But don’t take our word for it. Here’s what members of the Podfest community have to say…
I’ve been the host of The #SpeakEasy Podcast for almost four years now but I have to say that Podfest delivers current topics that are relevant to the podcasting industry. (Which has become a booming industry for entrepreneurs and activists) Not only do they bring great content but they open up the podcasting community for networking and support. This allows new podcasters and veteran podcasters to come together and collaborate.
Let’s be honest, many people are still trying to maneuver the whole virtual space but Podfest has mastered it with tools like Whova and Zoom. The event is highly engaged with conversations during the live sessions and virtual meetups being put together by the podcasters. This is your space to get a know someone who loves the podcasting life just like you.
As a podcaster or entrepreneur I would love to know how you are networking during quarantine? I’ve heard quite a few people say that it has been easier for them.
