Just Take Ya Time — Reflecting on 10 Years of Storytelling

I Get It, I Get It, I Get It: A Decade of Helping Women Tell Their Stories

Coming Soon to YouTube + TikTok

There’s a moment in the video where I lock eyes with the camera and simply motion, “Come here.”

Not in a rush. Not in a scream. Just a quiet invitation—

Because after 10 years of helping women tell their stories, I’ve learned: healing doesn’t need hype. It needs honesty.

The soft, introspective song playing—“Daisies” by Justin Bieber—says what I couldn’t put into words:

“Just take your time… I get it, I get it, I get it.”

I do.

I get what it feels like to sit on a story so heavy it nearly breaks you.
I get the silence you keep when the world says “move on” but you’re still piecing yourself back together.
I get the courage it takes to write your way out.

For a decade now, I’ve held space for women who didn’t think they had a voice.
Who didn’t think their truth was “big enough” or “worthy enough” to be shared.
Spoiler alert: it always is.

Whether you’ve written a book, a blog post, a late-night note to yourself in your phone… you’ve already begun.

Telling your story is never about being the loudest voice in the room—it’s about being the truest one.

So if you’re reading this post and wondering whether your story still matters, hear me:

Yes, it does. And I get it. I really do.
