The Top 7 Speakers Who Are Raising the Bar During Quarantine
The speaking industry took a hard hit when live events started to back peddle as Covid-19 started to become a household discussion in February of 2020. Many were uncertain of how to adjust. Once the quarantine hit many states in the US in March events coordinators were already starting to look at some huge financial losses.
Within every situation, there is a silver lining and some of the top speakers in the industry showed just why they are at the top! There is no question that frustrations and anxiety are high but these speakers chose to be a solution!

Yes, I have attended something from each of these speakers while in quarantine for FREE and gain valuable information. There are a few things that these top speakers in the industry are teaching during the quarantine.
Consistency Matters
I know that many people talk about how consistency allows you to build a strong following but it also expands your network. When you choose a task like live streaming or podcasting, there will people who want to collaborate with you because they see that you will not be here today and gone tomorrow. That is the currency in any industry as we see many companies opening and closing their doors.
Can people rely on you to be available at the end of the week? How about the end of the year?
Your why pushes you to show up regardless of the circumstances
If your why doesn’t drive you then it is not your why. I know that is a hard pill to swallow but it is the truth. Having a strong why is like having a palm tree in a storm. You may be blown around but you will not break. That is infectious and there are many people who will be drawn to you because they see yours why. They connect with your why.
When you are someone with a passion for serving and making an impact it will shine through.
Learning how to pivot in tough situations
Situations happen! They do not always come with a timeline or even a start date. Yet those who know how to pivot in certain circumstances become an asset. Don’t believe me? Books have been written about it and whole conferences have been built around it. Everyone is looking for a roadmap through tough situations.
Your roadmap may not be perfect but it is one that someone needs.
When you don’t know it…find someone else who does!
Learn from the expert, become the expert or pay the expert to do it for you. These are the only three real choices we have as business owners, speakers…heck as people. We have to factor in time, money, and experience but there is no reason for us to do something that we are not any good at. There is someone out there with the right skill set to make your life a bit easier.
You have some knowledge that can do the same for someone else.
Spend more time taking action
Time is the one commodity that has the most value right now. (I know you thought it was toilet paper) How you value your time and how you spend your time all make a huge difference in the respect that others will give to your time. We can all think of a moment when in our minds we thought “This could have been sent in an email!” At that moment we felt that our time could have been spent doing something or anything other than what we were doing.
Value your time before you expect anyone to value it.
