“Love is like a baby; it needs to be treated tenderly” ~ Ethiopian Proverb

I think many of us can agree that love is a journey. Whether it is loving yourself or loving someone else, you will be tested and stretched in order to feel and give love. This proverb is a verbal reminder that to take our time when it comes to the process of love. Like a baby, love can be fragile.

So, how do we treat love tenderly?

I think that can be answered in two ways:

~ Knowing how we want to be loved

~ Asking how others would like to be loved

It would be through having very personal conversations that we are able to truly define how to treat love tenderly.
