Reading Matters- A drive by Lotus Rescue
Kolkata, 15th June , 2021: In a time of distress, when most people are
worried about one’s personal health and well being, lotus rescue has
taken an initiative towards developing the reading and learning
skills of the underprivileged students present in their different
homes. It is with great effort of the teachers and the team members of
the organization present that the children are being able to develop
new skills and polish their old ones.
Lotus Rescue Burdwan district, has come up with their first library to
encourage children and the women present to make use of their time.
The organization is collecting old English books and magazines and
reusing it by giving it to the children and the women. As a part of
their skill development program the learning drive so far has shown
excellent results among the women and the children.
