We will always use the people and things that we trust as a foundation. That would explain why some have failed and others have succeeded in the past.
Trust……..that fickle thing that can end marriages and expands businesses. We have to take a moment, as 2016 is beginning to come to a close, to evaluate our issues with trust. Yes, I said issues with trust. There is some incident in our past that has made us not trust anyone. Something in our childhood, our marriage, at our job or in our school age years. What ever it is, it has blocked us from trusting God and what he has said was available to us.
Isaiah 40:31 NLT
“But those who trust in the Lord will find renewed strength. They soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”
Have you begun to feel weak when it comes to your family, your business or your relationships? Then it’s time to look at what or who you have been trusting. When we have put our full trust in man without first putting our trust in God, we find ourselves on the short end of the stick every time. People will let us down if we are trusting in them when that is not the role they were meant to be in our lives. It’s time to refocus our trust.
Take time today to write out what and or who you have been putting your trust into and determine where you can improve. Watch the replay from my scope on this topic.
Until next time,
